The Atlanta Hawks, according to reports have traded, star center, Dwight Howard to the Charlotte Hornets as league sources told 'The Vertical'. The Hawks will send Howard and the 31st pick in the 2017 NBA Draft to the Hornets for center Miles Plumlee, guard Marco Belinelli and the 41st pick in the draft.The Hawks had been in negotiations Tuesday with the Brooklyn Nets on a deal, league sources said, but that bid to unload Howard was foiled when the Brooklyn Nets made a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers to trade Brook Lopez and the 27th pick for D'Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov.
